Creative inspiration is not the sole province of a select few artistic souls. Anyone can be more creative. Creativity in business can generate innovative ways to look at challenges in different ways and spur ideas for new projects and goals.
In this two-hour Creative Boost Workshop, we will learn about what the latest neurosciences shows about what the brain looks like when it is engaged in creative thinking, and we will practice a few techniques to look at situations, people and challenges in new and different ways.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Pam McFarland is the owner of Dragonfly Communications, LLC, a small editorial and writing consulting firm based in Silver Spring. Pam has facilitated writing and journaling workshops with a variety of different groups, including solopreneurs, churches, women in recovery from addiction, and middle schoolers, and she is in training to obtain the certified journal facilitator (CJF) credential through the Denver-based Center for Journal Therapy. She has Masters’ Degrees in creative writing and public relations and has worked as a journalist and freelance writer for more than a decade.
